Egypt!

Here is a preview of what I did the past eight days...
More camel rides

Sailed the Nile River
(I sail!)

Visited the Great Pyramids in Giza

 And climbed Mount Sinai!
Egypt is my one true love.
Many things transpired in Egypt that I will never forget.
What happens in Egypt

Stays in Egypt.

Whole New Worlds

I feel like I am in the movie Aladdin every day.
A few days ago a few of us even went and were 'roof jumping'.
Best. Day. Ever.

Something even better?

I went on my first public bus ride! To the Malka Mall.
It may have taken 45 minutes but it was worth it to see that three level mall.

After the mall I had another new experience.

I took a taxi!
Another thing in life that I can check off.

Psych!

I saw these in the Shuk the other day.

It was a sight for my eyes to see.

I would never eat pineapple, but they're is something
special about them.

James Roday, you wonderfully handsome man,
you have changed my life.

Is This The Place To Which You Have Come?

I walked into someone else's apartment.

Not only that.

I walked into the service couple's apartment.

Thinking it was mine.

I live on the third level.
I came from the sixth level and went down two levels
thinking I was on the third level.

I was distracted.
A girl knew my name but I didn't know hers.
I felt awful, and still do because to this moment, I'm still unsure of what her name is.
I was thinking so hard, my math skills failed me.

Thinking I was on my floor, I went through the door and down the hall.
I went to the second door which should have been mine.

I first noticed when I saw the hardwood flooring.
The next thing I heard was a voice.
A man's voice.
What is HE doing in MY room?

I look up, not my room.

I played it off cool, like always.
The brother and sister who live there assured me it was ok.
That I could stop by anytime I wanted too.

Which may be more often than they think.

My First Kiss

It was invigorating.
Unexpected.
Everything a first kiss should be.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of going to Galilee.
On our trip up north the land drops a few thousand feet below sea level, so we have to stop at the monument where sea level would be.
And there he was.
I'll never forget it.
It cost money of course and I got a ride out of it too.
20 sheckels and off I was.

That camel was a beast. 20 sheckels for a ride? Bargain!
After walking around with him I got to pose with him. When dad shouts, "Let's see a kiss!" I was unsure what to think.
So I turn my head and here it was.
The camels mouth in my face.

Invigorating. Unexpected. Everything a first kiss should be, right?
