HAPPY VALETINE'S DAY
This I would have to say was the best Valentine's Day I have ever had.
Above is a picture that defines why it was so great.
Valentine's Day landed on a Monday this year and every Monday we go on a field trip.
Our field trip was to a little place called Neot Kedumim.
We herded some goats and sheep, which was particularly fun.
We made pita and zatar.
(Special heart pitas just for Valentine's Day)
Now let me tell you a little story.
This story is all about zatar and how to make it.
First off I will tell you what zatar is.
Zatar = Hyssop
Clear?
Moving on.
You get the hyssop and you put it in a bowl and you smash it!
Just pound it down until it looks like the bottom picture.
After that you can put it on whatever you like.
Pita, bread, whatever suits your fancy.
Other things that we did on this Valentine's Day:
Ran on a water wheel
Associated everything with Valentine's Day
(there were hearts everywhere)
Took fake engagement photos
Engagement Photos
Galore
And like always on Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day cards.
Lots and lots of love notes all throughout the day and night.
As much fun as the goats and engagement photos were...
I would have to say that my favorite part of the day was.....drum roll please
Riding on the Love Bus!
